1893: Arms 10 c. grey on salmon postal stationery envelope (H&G B20) used from Corinto to Paris, canclled by oval "P.M.S.S. / PURSER / S.S. COLON" Pacific Mail Steam Ship cachet in violet. Reverse with "Transito / Panama" cds (April 15) and thence from Colon by French Steamer and struck with octagonal "LIGNE D / PAQ. FR. No. 1" datestamp in blue (April 22). Paris arrival (May 16) also in blue. A rare cover. Ex the Brian Moorhouse estate.
