30 reis grey-black, Intermediate Impression (First Composite Plate, State A, position 14), a superb large margined example showing the frame line at base used with 90 reis grey, Worn Impression (First Composite Plate, State A, position 2) with large margins and showing the frame line at top; both stamps showing the Semi-Xifopagus marginal dividing lines, tied to small piece by framed "GRAMPARÁ" handstamp (Ayres fig. 1311) in red with manuscript "23 Mayo de 1844" across both adhesives.
