1857: 1/2d. rose horizontal pair, four margins, large on three sides, close but clear at foot, tied to part Globe newspaper (January 15, 1858) by faintly-struck black target cancels, addressed to Dundas, right stamp with trivial light crease mentioned for strict accuracy,  an exceptional and rare franking illustrating the transient newspaper rate, with only one such example recorded in the Smith Census.rnProvenance: Collection "K.L.", R.A.
