1868: 18 bani bright red, a fine four margined horizontal pair (Transfer Types 8-5) and, on reverse a single example (Transfer Type 4), pre-paying the double weight registered rate to Bucharest; with the pair tied by two strikes of framed RECOMANDAT handstamp in blue and the single cancelled by "T. MAGURELLE 22 / 3" datestamp in black (Kiriac fig. 418). GIURGIU transit cds in blue and BUCURESTI arrival (March 26) cds also on reverse. Small faults where seals were removed but a scarce franking.
