Auction 333-341 Europe & Overseas Americas (North, Central & South America) - Day 1

1866/67: Llama 10 c. vermilion, a remarkable franking of a single, horizontal pair, strip of four, and two strips of seven on judicial cover to Huaraz, all tied by ten strikes of oval framed "CAJATAMBO" handstamps in red. One or two faults and possibly one further adhesive missing at lower right but nevertheless a spectacular usage. Ex the Brian Moorhouse estate.
