1859/1879: Accumulation of used stamps and pieces, comprising seventeen examples, including multiples and bisects, noted; 1859 1 r. blue two singles, one showing rare 'E' flaw; six pieces franked with various issues from 1863/64 Eagles, noted ½ r. orange and 2 r. green tied to piece, also three examples of bisects on piece including 2 r. and 1 r. (Scott 13 & 14) and an impressive piece with five ½ r. and also a postal forgery on piece; 1865 ½ r. five singles tied to piece (Scott 19) as well as a pair tied to piece tete-beche postal forgery (Scott 19b); and 1 r. strip of three (Scott 20); and a selection of later issues from 1873 with overprint and used with fine postmarks including a block of nine 1 r. vermilion cancelled by line manuscript cancel; some faults, mainly fine, a scarce group.
