1830 (Nov 24): Entire letter from Mauritius to Bordeaux, with very clear strike of the two-line entry marking 'COLONIES PAR / ST. MARTINE-ILE-DE-RÉ' in black (Salles fig. 65) alongside the double circle 'SAINT-MARTIN-DE-RÉ' datedstamp in black (3 May 1831). Reverse with arrival cds in black (5 May). Fresh and very fine entire.
