1894 (Feb): Pictorial set of nine values Waterlow sample stamps. Comprising Imperforate 2 c. black & sepia block of four, 6 c. black & yellow-green and 12 c. black & blue-green strips of three; Perforated 1 c. black & claret, 3 c. green & chestnut, 5 c. black & greyish blue, 8 c. blue & light brown, 18 c. black & dull purple and 24 c. slate-green & yellow-orange strips of three, all affixed to two pages from a sample book with reference numbers above each. Some soiling in places though a rare group of multiples still intact.
