1956: 1½a on 1½d Queen Elizabeth II, St. Edward's Crown watermark, formerly Muscat, now listed under 'British Postal Agencies in Eastern Arabia' in Gibbons. A scarce stamp, nicely centred and cancelled, with BPA certificate from 1969.
SG £1,200 (Mi € 3500).
Only a few sheets were sent by accident with a printing of the intended Tudor Crown watermarked stamp. Most were used in Dubai, but they are also known from Muscat, Bahrain, and Sharjah (FPO).
