1885: 1 c. olive and 2 c. lilac on pale lilac both in horizontal strips of five, 5 c. blue (2) and 10 c. red-brown on yellowish all used on 15 c. rose postal stationery envelope, paying the 50 c. registered rate to Bern, Switzerland tied by manuscript pen strokes and five strikes of the "MONACO / PRINCIPAUTE" circular datestamp (13 July 1887) in black. Framed "R" in red and reverse with Marseille transit, "Pontarlier-Neuchatel" TPO and Bern arrival cds (July 15). An attractive cover.
