Auction 333-341 Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan & Worldwide Postal History - Day 4

1901/05: Lakatoi covers (3) with 1903 cover to Brisbane bearing ½ d. black and yellow-green (4) all tied by BNG obliterators with Port Moresby despatch cds below (Jan 28) and Cooktown transit on reverse; 1902 registered cover to USA bearing ½ d., 1 d., 2 d. and 4 d. tied BNG obliterators from Port Moresby (July 31) and readdressed upon arrival in Springfield to Boston; and 1905 1½ d. blue postal stationery card sent registered to Sydney franked on reverse with the complete set of 8 values incl. the rare 2 s. 6 d. black & brown cancelled in red at Kokoda (Noc 15). Imperfections but a scarce group, the card being of considerable rarity.
