Walton and further censored in Johannesburg; 1900 cover with 1896 1 d. carmine used to Simonstown signed by Capt. Bateman; 1901 cover with 1890 1 d. pale red used to Pietermaritzburg Regufee Camp signed by E. Walton - this with DEAD.WOOD.CAMP handstamp on reverse; and 1901 cover to Switzerland with three 1887 1 d. red signed by F.W. Alexander. A scarce group.
