Auction 333-341 Europe & Overseas - Day 5

1922: Ascension lower marginal 1½ d. rose-scarlet, 2 d. black & grey and top marginal 3 d. bright blue all used on imprinted OHMS registered 1922 cover to London , each cancelled by "St. Helena" cds (Dec 14) in black. Registration label at left and London arrival (Jan 16, 1923) on reverse. Slight edge tear at left of cover but generally fine and scarce.
Note: Stamps of St. Helena were valid in Ascension and vice-versa.
