British Protectorate 1815-1864 1817/92: Cefalonia, the collection on leaves with entires/covers (15), with 1817 entire to Corfu with "LIXURI DI CEFALONIA" handstamp in red and "ISOLE / IONIE and "FRANCA" arrival, 1824 entire with "ISOLA DI CEFALONIA" in red and "ISOLE / IONIE" arrival in blue; 1844 envelope with circular "POSTA PAGATA" to Corfu, 1845 cover from Firenze to Cefalonia via Ancona and Corfu with hooded datestamps, 1850 entire from Italian Consul with cachet and hooded Cefalonia datestamp to Corfu, 1852 entire with same datestamp prepaid to Triest; 1858 similar entire but with framed "FRANCA" in addition used to Firenze; 1861 cover with Greece Paris print 20 l. and 40 l. from Patras to Cefalonia; a fine group with viewing recommended.
