Greek Post Office in Smirna 1872: Large Hermes 50 l. orange on cream, two vertical pairs with clear to large margins all round, used on 1874 cover from Smirna to Athens, the adhesives tied on arrival by "SYRA" circular datestamps in black (March 24). SMIRNA despatch cds at right; wrinkles and some crayon docketing but an attractive entire.
