Ballon Monté No. 19 1870 (Oct 25): Entire letter to London franked by 1863/67 30 c. brown, tied by Paris Star with with 'Paris / 60' cds (Oct 25, 1st levée) alongside and very unusual usage of large framed "P.D." in black at left. Flown from beseiged Paris on the Ballon "Le Vauban" or, as letter indicates, possibly smuggled out of Paris. No backstamp Maury = € 450+.
