4/FE/1868 Buenos Aires - New York, entire letter that was dispatched at the French consulate in Buenos Aires (to avoid paying the local postage), carried by French paquebot "Aunis" to Rio de Janeiro, where it was transfered to an American ship, with New York arrival on 25/MAR. It bears due marks "8" (French) and "18" (American), very fine quality!
