1939 3d vert block of 6 + 1d single on overweight commercial cover ex 27 July 1939 New Westminster, Canada, to Auckland, NZ., bearing Canadian 2c + 5c stamps, oval T taxe mark with 190 inserted in pencil, COLLECT / d. / AFFIX STAMPS / BEFORE / DELIVERY h/s in red with 1/7 inserted in pencil, & 21 AUG 1939 Auckland "C" cds. In 1939 Canada withdrew from the all-up British Empire letter scheme. The then letter rate to NZ was 6c per ½oz, & as cover weighed over 1½ oz postage applicable was 24c. P Due charged as 19c underpaid = 190 gold centimes = 1/7d.
