AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 1918 3¢ PURPLE OFFSET, TYPE IV WITH A TRIPLE IMPRESSION.
A search of our and other auction house websites revealed that no examples have ever been offered in the past several decades on the market. In addition, a search on the Philatelic Foundation's Certificate Search showed that no examples to date have ever been certified. It is apparent that this variety is of great rarity and may not exist well centered.
