1912 Kangaroo ½d red ESSAY half-tone print (screen letterpress) on coated paper, being a proof reproduction made by photographing a perf type 3 Essay showing value tablet at top-left & a 'tuff of grass' in front of the kangaroo. VF UN as made, colour sl pale, full original size 72x77mm. ACSC KE 34 cat $10,000.
