1852-C. Winter-2, Repunched Date. PCGS graded MS-61. The base of an underlying 1 can be seen below the center of the base of the 1 in the date. Boldly struck with evidence of typical die clashing on both sides. Honey-gold mint luster and just a few small marks and abrasions are noteworthy attributes of this splendid, conditionally scarce Charlotte-mint example. Pop 7; 19 finer, 7 in 62, 8 in 63, 4 in 64.
