1783 Nova Constellatio with Small US and Pointed Rays Crosby 2-B Rarity-1 F15. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Most of the details suggest a higher grade, but minor swelling in the center of the obverse has caused "US" to be weak. The only marks are some faint hairline scratches inside the wreath and a fine scratch through the right top of the first T in JUSTITIA. The date is bold. Weight 140.6 grains. Listed on page 54 in the "Redbook."
