1843 N-4 R1 Petite Head, Large Letters EF45. Ten points sharper but myriad extremely light hairline scratches cover most of the face and neck of Ms Liberty. Apparently these were added intentionally because they are so uniform and done in a recurring pattern. The scratches are not visible to the unaided eye so the eye appeal remains quite nice. Lustrous frosty medium brown and light chocolate with a swipe of slightly darker toning from star 5 to star 7. E-MDS, die state b, with a series of clearly defined rim cud breaks under the 184.
