Pamphylia, Aspendos. Silver Stater (10.69 g), ca. 420-410 BC Choice VF. Two nude wrestlers grappling, the wrestler on the left grasping the leg of the wrestler on the right. Reverse: EΣT (retrograde, at lower right), slinger preparing to hurl stone standing right; in right field, triskeles; between legs, c/m: goat kneeling left, head right, within rectangular incuse. Tekin series 1; cf. SNG BN 44-8 (position of legend). Pleasing archaic style. Toned. Choice Very Fine. Estimated Value $500 - 600
