Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Rebbes Rabbi Chaneh Halberstam of Kołaczyce and His Brother Rabbi Chaim Baruch Halberstam of Frysztak
A letter handwritten and signed by the Rebbe Rabbi Chaneh Halberstam of Kołaczyce.

On the reverse side of the letter, an addition handwritten and signed by his brother the Rebbe Rabbi Chaim Baruch, who notes: "My friend from Cieszanów Shalita will come to Frysztak …"

The letter was sent from Kołaczyce. Written on a postcard. Ink and pencil.

Rabbi Elchanan Chaneh Halberstam (1884-1943), the Rebbe of Kołaczyce, of the Sanz Hassidism.

In 1923 he was chosen as the Rabbi of Reyshe and established a yeshiva named "Zera Kodesh". He died in the Holocaust with his entire family including his wife, sons and grandchildren – more than seventy people.

His compositions 'Bein Ha'Shemashot' and 'Torat Mikveh' as well as booklets he wrote anonymously were printed after the war in a book titled 'Divrei Chaneh'.

Rabbi Chaim Baruch Halberstam of Frysztak (1887-1942) replaced his father as the rabbi of Frysztak after his father's death in 1926. His five sons perished during the Holocaust.

Condition: Good. Slight omissions in the corners of the postcard, with no damage to text.

מכתב בכתב יד קודשו ובחתימתו של האדמו"ר הקדוש רבי חנה הלברשטאם זצ"ל הי"ד מקאלשיץ.

בגב המכתב הוספה בכתב ידו ובחתימתו של אחיו האדמו"ר רבי חיים ברוך הי"ד, המציין: "ידידי הה"צ מצעשינוב שליט"א יבוא לפריסטיק...".

המכתב נשלח מקאלשיץ. כתוב על גבי גלויה. דיו ועיפרון.

רבי אלחנן חנה הלברשטאם הי"ד (תרמ"ד-תש"ג), האדמו"ר מקולושיץ, מגזע צאנז.

בשנת תרפ"ג נבחר לרבה של רישא, וייסד בהשתתפות בני נוער ישיבה בשם "זרע קודש". נספה בשואה עם כל משפחתו. בשואה נספו גם אשתו, בניו ונכדיו, וכל משפחתו המורחבת - למעלה משבעים נפש, ובתוכם בנו רבי חיים ברוך הי"ד.

חיבוריו 'בין השמשות' ו'תורת מקוה', וקונטרסיו שיצאו בעילום שם, הודפסו אחרי תום המלחמה בשם "דברי חנה".

רבי חיים ברוך הלברשטאם מפריסטיק (תרמ"ז-תש"ב) - ממלא מקום אביו בפריסטיק לאחר פטירתו בתרפ"ו. חמשת בניו נספו בשואה.

מצב טוב. חסר מעט בפינות הגלויה, ללא נגיעה בטקסט.
