1868/78: 2 d. deep blue, wmk. Crown & Q, perf. 12½, a used horizontal pair, of fine colour and appearance, one pulled corner perf. at upper left, very lightly cancelled in black. A stamp which only exists in used condition and especially rare in a multiple. Cert. Ceremuga (2023) Gi = £ 2'000+.rnProvenance: Ex collection Digby.

1879/81: Sideface 4 d. (pale) orange-yellow, wmk. Crown over Q, perf. 12, an unused block of eight (4 x 2) in a fresh pale shade, marginal from top of sheet, some splitting and imperf. at base, cracked large part og. A fine and very scarce large multiple, believed to be the largest known in this unlisted shade. Cert. Ceremuga (2023) Gi = £ 3'600+.

1896/1902: 6 d. green, numerals in lower corners only, wmk. Crown over Q, perf. 12¾, the 1902 error from the rejected design, a used example of fine fresh colour, excellent perfs. all round, cancelled by "Parcel Post Branch / Brisbane" cds (15 April 1902) in black. This stamp only exists used, with circa eighteen to twenty examples extant of which many have faults. Choice, an exceptional example of this rarity. Certs. Ceremuga (2009 and 2023...

1901: ½ d. blue-green (shades), Die State I, wmk. V over Crown, two blocks from different sheets, with top right corner block of twelve (4 x 3) compound perf. comb 12¼ x 12½ (single line perf.) with stamps unmounted og., matched with corner block of 24 (6 x 4) from lower left of the sheet, compound perf. comb 12¼ x 12 (single line perf.), large mart og. with 23 unmounted og. An attractive page Gi = £ 250+.

1861/1907: Unused collection balance on leaves, approaching 100 items, with scarcer items noting 1879-81 1d. Sideface showing the "QOEENSLAND" variety, 1897-1908 2d. Printed in Adelaide. Second Roulette Issue 1860/69: 2 d. bright vermillion, rouletted, wmk. Large Star, an unused horizontal pair rouletted at vertical sides, with clear to large margins all round and rare thus, showing variety "Imperforate between Vertically", minor wrinkles and small cut outside the margin at top right, small part og. A seldom seen and extremely rare pair. Cert BPA (1979) Gi = £ 3'750

1867/70: 1 s. pale bright green, wmk. Large Star, perf. 11½-12½ x roulette, an unused example with eccentric roulettes but good perforations for the issue, of rich colour and impression, unused without gum and a used example in the indigo shade (Gi 58) for comparison. Scarce Gi = £ 1'100

Watermark Large Star 1870/71: 3 PENCE in red on 4 d. dull ultramarine, wmk. Large Star, perf. 10, an unused example centred to upper right, of deep colour, small paper adherence on browned part og. A rare stamp Gi = £ 1'600.

1883/99: Presentation Sheet for "Specimen / South Australian Postage and Revenue Stamps" all issues dated between 3 Dec 1886 until 1 Jan 1891, showing 3 d. sage, 6 d. blue 2½ d. on 4 d, 5 d. on 6 d., and Long Stamps first issue 2 s. 6 d. to £ 20 value (thirteen) all overprinted with various types of "SPECIMEN" handstamp horizontally in black. Base of sheet signed off by the Postmaster General "22-2-92" in ink. Some horizontal creasing affects...

1886 (Dec 3): Long Stamps 'Postage & Revenue', the set from 2 s. 6 d. mauve to £ 20 claret, wmk. Crown SA sideways (excl. £ 3 which is upright), perf. 10 with £ 3 and £ 5 perf. 11½; being the complete set of 13 values overprinted large "SPECIMEN" (18.5 x 2.5 mm.) in black (the £ 5 brown unknown with this Specimen handstamp), all being very fresh and fine with large part og.
