1840 1d. black, Pl.5, MA-MJ horizontal strip of 10 on entire from Dublin to Liverpool, tied red MCs, margins just touched in places along top (where there are some faults). Dublin and Liverpool marks on reverse, a little soiling and some peripheral faults but a remarkable cover, and extremely rare in this format being the largest recorded strip from this plate on cover; cert BPA (1996); ex Daisy, Pichai and Gross.
