CRASH COVER: Registered cover sent from Buenos Aires to USA on 17/JUN/1938 on PANAGRA airplane, which crashed and was lost in the Andes mountains for almost 3 years, until it was found and part of the mail was salvaged. This cover was returned to sender, with the violet handstamp applied in Santiago de Chile indicating the rescue, VF and interesting!
