1 d. red-brown, lettered FK, large margins on three sides, touching at foot, tied to folded entire by ideal strike of Maltese Cross in blue, corresponding Truro datestamp (15 November, 1841) in matching ink alongside, with "4" date slug inverted, to Helston, with faint next-day receiver on front, horizontal filing folds do not detract, a beautiful example of this rare coloured cancellation Gi. AS68vc = £4'500.

1 d. red-brown, plate 11, horizontal strip of four, lettered EC-EF, margins mostly close or cut into in places, good at top, tied to piece by multiple strikes of Maltese Cross in red, creased through EE, and other imperfections, but an exceptionally rare multiple, signed F. Godden on reverse, the largest recorded 1d. red multiple cancelled with a red Maltese Cross Gi. AS74va = £15'000 as singles only.
