1931: Stationery Envelope, 1½ d. Photographic Essay, not mounted to card, undated. Measures 34 x 40 mm. Rare. (H&G B3 essay).

1927: Stationery Envelope, 2 d. vermilion, die proof, on laid paper, size 58 x 64 mm., dated "24.8.27" and inscribed "appd 26/8",  fine and scarce.

1931: Stationery Envelope, 1½ d. sunken Die Proof in vermilion, dated "10th March 1931" and marked "G Nigeria 4970" and "appd 12/3/31", initialled. Measures 105 x 108 x 3½ mm. Some tone spots otherwise very impression and rare (H&G B3 proof).

1931: Stationery Envelope, 1½ d. orange, final colour Proof, complete envelope in the issued colour, marked "G req 4973", "appd for colour", initialled and dated "15/4/31". Vertical filing crease left of centre and pin holes from being affixed to the file. Scarce. Comes with an unused example of the same envelope.

1931: Stationery Envelope, 1½ d. orange, used from Umuahia to London, dated 21 September 1931, cancelled by a double circle "UMUAHIA" in black. To the reverse a "PORT HARCOURT NIGERIA" double circle transit dated 21 September 1931, minor imperfections, scarce; used within the three month period between issue and the increase in the imperial rate. Very difficult to find.

1914: Registration Envelope, 2 d. ultramarine, size G, unused, imprint reads "THOS. DE LA RUE & CO.", tone spots, surface damage to reverse and apparent gum wrinkling, however a rare example; one of two unused recorded.

1914: Registration Envelope, 2 d. ultramarine, size H2, unused, imprint reads "THOS. DE LA RUE & CO" (no dot after 'CO'), tone spots, minor soiling, gum wrinkling to flap, otherwise fine. Rare; one of two unused recorded. Unlisted by H&G.

1950: Registered Envelope, 3 d. blue, size F, imprint "THOMAS DE LA RUE & COMPANY, LIMITED.", unused, strong colour, fresh example, very fine, rare; one of two recorded unused.
Note: All King George VI registered envelopes, except the 1937 size G, are scarce in mint condition.

Postal Orders: 1919: King George V, 5 s. blue, 2 d. overprint type T2T, original poundage 1 d., issued at Lagos, dated 15 December 1919, struck with a double circle "LAGOS NIGERIA", large format design, creasing, small tears and soiled. Rare early example; earliest recorded postal order from Nigeria.

Postal Orders: 1924: King George V, 20 s. red, 4 d. overprint type T3T, original poundage 2 d., GvR watermark (issued in Britain for a few months), large design, dated 1 August 1929, struck with a double circle "M.O.O. PORT HARCOURT", two heavy vertical creases and small hole in top above 'Y' of 'PAYEE'. The GvR watermark postal orders are rare and this is the only known surviving of this type.

Postal Orders: British 1929: King George V, 2 s. blue, non-overprinted, used in Nigeria, poundage 1 d., stamp box to the left, with added 1921 1 d. rose-carmine, dated 30 April 1929, double circle "JEBU ODE NIGERIA" cancel of the issuing office, has been crossed (only the recipient could cash), vertical and horizontal creases, small tear at base. Rare; one of five examples used between 1915 and 1933.

Postal Orders: 1938: King George VI, 2 s. blue, overprinted 2 d. five bars type T3T, original poundage 1½ d., with the additional "IN INK" added to top line, dated 11 March 1943, 1938 1 d. carmine horizontal pair, central vertical crease and a number of pin holes, otherwise a most appealing early example. Scarce.
