1945 (Feb 9) use of 'IAFF - 1083' 'SECURITY: THINK - BEFORE YOU WRITE' aerogramme to Cardiff (UK) from F/Lt Fisher '906' Wing in Central Burma franked with India 4as tied by 'RAF POST/61/INDIA' datestamp in violet, RAF Censor handstamp. [Interesting comment “The Russians seem to have showed up again during this past few days but we can't expect them to keep up there rush forward all the time”]

1954 (Dec 29) PPC showing Angkor Wat to Phnom Penh with 1.50p Temple of Angkor x2 tied by fine strikes of Siem Reap Angkor datestamp. Scarce internal use of PPC.

1851-60 Imperforate blue Paper 4d olive-yellow SG #4 (Unitrade #2). Four clear margins very close especially lower right quadrant, light oval grid number '3' of Baie Verte (Robson Lowe Type C8) in blue. Fine, cat £800.

1860 Medium Paper Without Mesh 3d green with watermark variety of SG #11 (Unitrade #11Ai). The visible parts watermark visible are the letters 'Y' and 'W' (from 'STACEY WISE 1858'). Comes with common no watermark example for comparison, both with clear margins. (2)

1862-64 New Colours appear all on handmade paper without mesh SG #16-23, Cat £1,100+ (Unitrade #15A-23). 1d and 5d similar shade (chocolate brown?), other values in paler rose shades (remainders?) with four clear to large margins with gum (ex 2d & 6½d no gum and very close cut). Very attractive stamps, even more attractive estimate less than 10% of catalogue. (8)More Scans

1919 Caribou complete SG #130-141 (Unitrade #115-126). Perf types and shades unchecked, as fresh as you could wish for. One of the great thematic sets. (12)

1923-24 Pictorials complete SG #149-162. All lightly hinged ex 1c, 2c & 10c without gum, 4c perf tone. Perfs and shades unchecked, fresh mainly well-centred, cat £180. (14)

1937 Coronation Long Set very lightly duplicated range with all values incl both 3d Dies (P13½, P13). Closest to complete is P13½ (lacks only 8c). Overall good centring and very fresh, Cat £270+. Bit of work yet to complete. (27)More Scans

1947 leather-bound presentation pack gold embossed for the 1947 International Postal Union Congress in Paris. Contains 1938 Royalty set of 4 SG #268-71, ten values 1c to 48c from the 1941-44 Pictorial reprints in SG #276-89 range, 1943 30c University and 7c Air SG #290-91, all mounted by own gum. 1851-60 Imperforate blue Paper 1d red-brown SG #1 (Unitrade #1). Margins very close mostly just clear; 3d bright blue SG #3 (Unitrade #2i), three clear margins, touching lower left quadrant. Both have void centre barred oval cancels (Robson Lowe Type C1) in black. Difficult stamps, cat £625. Good value. (2)
