Used Abraod - BURMA 1870: Cover from Shoay Gyen to Lewisburg, Penn., U.S.A. via Calcutta, London and New York, franked with India QV ½a., 1a. 2a. and 1866 4a. green, cancelled with "B/171" octogonal numeral (Shoay Gyen) and 'Maulmain/..." in m/s, with red "SHOAY GYEN/19/NOV/70" double-ring d/s, London and New York transit dater plus "2/CENTS" in red on front, Calcutta transit cds on reverse. The 4a. adhesive fine, others with corner/perf defects, but still a scarce cover from Shoay Gyen, Burma to the U.S.A. with an attractive four-colour franking. Catalog Price 100,00
