May 19" cds departure, also manuscript "Rec'd Wednesday May 28 46" docketing alongside, fine and scarce cover from Florida Territory, signed Ashbrook ("In my opinion this cover is genuine in every respect. The use according to the memo at left was 1851 - May 18, 1851"), also handstamped "In 1847 Directory as 5-19-1851", scarce usage from Apalachicola (population in 1851 was approximately 1,900)
