Recess by Perkins Bacon 1861 (May 8): Perkins Bacon 6 d. deep yellow-green, no wmk., intermediate perf. 14-16, a used example, some peripheral aging where the gum has beled into the paper, tied to December 1861 entire letter to Edinburgh by "A10" obliterator. 'St. Vincent' cds alongside in black and 'London / Paid' transit cds (Jan 14, 1862) in red, reverse with Edinburgh arrival of the following day. An exceptionally rare cover. Cert. RPSL (2020).
