1851/60: 6 d. yellow-green on blued paper, a used example with good to large margins all round, tied to 1858 cover endorsed "By way of St. John & Windsor" to New Center, Mass., USA; lightly tied by grill obliterator with double arc "ST. JOHN / NEW BRUNSWICK" cds at left (Oct 11). Reverse with "BERWICK / N.S" despatch cds (Oct 5) and "KENTVILLE / N.S." (Oct 7) both in black. Small part of flap missing and minor and sensible restoration to envelope at top left but a most attractive and scarce cover.
