1902 (April 9): De La Rue Appendix sheet for the Edward VII 1903 issue but utilising Queen Victoria designs, dated at top "9th April 1902" in manuscript; showing imperforate Colour Trials of the 10 s. value (6), with top example in green & violet chosen for the "£1" value indicated in manuscript and signed as "Approved" by Sir William Mercer; with further examples at base all in colours not used for the issue. Illustrated in the "De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 6074.
