1844: Entire letter from Port Louis to Bordeaux endorsed "Planet via London" via the Cape showing "MAURITIUS / POST OFFICE" despatch cds in black (July 4), landed with unframed "RYDE / SHIP-LETTER" in black (Robertson fig. S5). London cds (Oct 4) and struck with framed "COLONIES / &c. ART.12" in red. Thence via Boulogne and charged '20' décimes' due on arrival. A scarce entire.
