Typographed from Woodblocks by Samuel Calvert 1857: 6 d. orange-yellow, serrated roulette 18-19 and partially scissor cut, used on 1857 cover to Scotland endorsed "Per Overland Mail per City of Sydney" tied by faint barred numeral "1" obliterator of Melbourne in black. Carried on the "City of Sydney" as far as Suez. Reverse with Melbourne despatch datestamp (Nov 16) and London arrival (Jan 13, 1858).
