1863/81: Laureated 10 d. grey, 1865 Emergency printing, wmk. '8' on De La Rue paper, perf. 13, a used example on 1866 printed "Via Marseilles" envelope to Plymouth, neatly tied by Melbourne duplex (Jan 25) in black. Reverse with Plymouth arrival cds (March 10). A rare stamp on letter (less than a dozen recorded), a few minor wrinkles to thin paper envelope otherwise a superb and most attractive cover.rnrnProvenance: Collection J.R.W.
