Inland Revenue 1893: 1 d. dull purple Inland Revenue adhesive used as postage with I.R. / TWO PENCE in black on 3 d. lilac in a horizontal pair and single 1885 ½ d. green all on 1894 registered cover from Perth to Liverpool tied by obliterators with oval registration cachet at right. "Registered / London" hooded cds of transit in red on obverse (July 23) and Liverpool arrival on reverse.
