Blue Granite paper 1886/87: 1 d. violet on granite, perf. 11½, two examples (4 JAN 87) used on 1888 cover to the Netherlands, each tied by "VRYHEID / NIEUWE REPUBLIEK" datestamps (Feb 3) in violet, used in combination with Transvaal 1885 ½ d. grey, 3 d. mauve and 4 d. bronze green (Gi 175b+180a+181a) similarly tied in violet.
