Surcharged in Melbourne 1912: "One Penny" on 2 d. yellow, wmk. Crown over double-lined A sideways, a used horizontal pair, compound comb perf. 12½ x 12 with right hand stamp showing shifted perfs. at base officially corrected by extra horizontal line perf. 11, cancelled by "Perth" cds in black. Surface faults on the left hand stamp and minor scratches on the right hand stamp but Ceremuga states "Mixed perf. stamps are of great rarity, while this is the only such multiple known to me and believed unique".
