1867: American Banknote Co., the collection and study of the Cork Cancellations on thie issue (with further items from the 1877/78 issues), including 1867 5 c. red single frankings on covers from Curico, Quillota (2), Santiago, Serena (2) and 10 c. blue on cover from Valparaiso; the strength though in off cover items incl. 10 c. blue in a used block of four and a fine block of ten cancelled at Huasco Customs Office, 10 c. cancelled "Arms of Chile" at Pozo del Monte and the attempts made to allocate the cork and mute cancellations prevalent on these issues with L.A.
