Auction 333-341 Europe & Overseas Americas (North, Central & South America) - Day 1

1863: Fifth Issue, 10 c. blue, type III, block of thirteen, from the lower right corner sheet, unused, with original gum, positions 33-35, 40-42, 47-49, 54-56 and position 60 printed sideways in bottom row, exhibits three transfer pairs, good to huge marhins all round, very fresh colour, crisp printing, hinge reinforcement to back where the block has been folded between stamps, some thin patches, however very scrace; one of the two third largest multiples in unused condition recorded; very appealing.
