1881/1946: Assembly of material with varieties, comprising twenty items, singles, pairs and blocks; including 1881 4 c. brown, top marginal block of eight, imperf. between horizontal pairs, unused, large part of original gum, unmounted (Scott 16b), 1881 Lion Surcharge, three items, two pairs with a '1' handstamp on one and '2' handstamp on adjacent stamp and a single with a double surcharge '2'; 1886 Seal of Treasures 5 c. pale blue, 4th printing, two blocks of six, unused (one with gum), showing variety 'imperf. between', one horizontal between two rows of three, the other vertical between second and third column; 1896 telegraph stamps (Scott 47a & 48a) with inverted surcharge; 1933 50 c. Discovery of America horizontal pair, imperforate between unmounted, 1939 two presidents 50 c. orange imperforate vertical pair with incorrect vignette (KN 413a), and horizontal pair (perfs across top) with wronge vingette and one inverted (KN 413); and 1946 Locomotive, eight unused examples, seven with errors of surcharge (C154), a mostly fine group, scarce.
