1855: 2 d. blue, plate 4, lettered GH, perf. 14, wmk. small crown, in combination with 1858 2 d. blue, plate 7, lettered IJ, perf. 14, wmk, large crown, used on a cover, from Shrewsbury to Warrington, dated 25 March 1860, tied by '708' Shrewsbury duplex in black. To reverse a Warrington arrival cds in black (26 March 1860). Has a light horizontal filing crease in lower portion well clear of adhesives. A fine and rare combination. One of five recorded covers with this franking, however a unique example with plate 4 used with plate 7.
