1871/74: Collection of Sloper Perforated Experimental Machine cancels comprising sixteen examples on 1871 ½ d. pale lilac postal stationery cards, set-out upon seven exhibition pages. Includes eight examples of the Sloper Arrow cancel illustrating the various types and varieties of punch hole size and broken needle pins (8), seven examples of the Manchester Clip marking normally found on the right side of the card, although there are two examples of the mark appearing on the left one of which has the marking on both sides. Also one example of the Bradford Single Hole Punch. Condition varies although several fine. A scarce group (16).
