Crown, perf. 14, used on a The Eastern Telegraph Company Telegram envelope, London to St John's Hill, Wandsworth, dated 9 April 1887, tied by London EC Hoster cancellation in black, Type VIII (Dubus Type 39). To the reverse a London SW cds in black (April 9). Stain to front and minor soiling, otherwsie fine. Unique example; only known Telegram envelope with Hoster postmark.
