Star, imperforate, an outstanding unused example of astonishing depth of colour with fine even margins all round, fresh and extremely fine, superb large part og. A magnificent example of an immensely rare stamp. Patrick C. Pearson in his London Philatelist 1984/87 series of articles "Ceylon 'Pence' Rarities - Where are they now?" stated less than 30 unused stamps recorded! Cert. RPSL (1960) Gi = £ 28'000.
