1893: Postal Stationery, 1 d. carmine, reply part of card used from Stettin, Germany to Lagos, dated 17 August 1894, cancelled by "STETTIN" datestamp in black, with British martime quartered handstamp of London in red dated 20 August 1894 alongside and "LAGOS / W. AFRICA" arrival dated 20 September 1894. Corner crease to top left and soiled, otherwise fine and rare; one of three recorded response cards sent back from abroad.
